Mountain View’s at River’s Edge RV Resort
Mountain Views at River's Edge served as our official home for the August rally. Nestled right on the banks of the Rio Grande, this premier resort was designed specifically for high-end motorcoaches, offering spacious sites and top-tier amenities just minutes from historic downtown Creede. It was the perfect blend of riverfront serenity and adventure-ready luxury.

Bus’n Bikers Fall 2026 Rides
Lake City & The Alpine Loop
We headed to Lake City to rent side-by-sides for an off-road adventure through the famous Alpine Loop, reaching the summit of Engineer Pass. Dinner followed at the lodge and Antlers.
Chama, NM & The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad
We took a scenic ride down to Chama, New Mexico, to experience the historic steam train. After the rail excursion and lunch, we enjoyed dinner on the return trip at Ramon's Mexican Restaurant.
Open Adventure Day: Mines & Mountains
Members chose their own adventure this flexible day. Options included golfing, horseback riding, fly fishing, or exploring the Last Chance Mine. We gathered for dinner in the lodge.
Gunnison or Durango Run
This flexible riding day gave members a route toward Gunnison or over to Durango Harley-Davidson. Dinner location varied by group.
Pagosa Springs & Tuscan Wine Finale
A short, scenic ride to Pagosa Springs for lunch and shopping capped off the week. We returned for a spectacular grand finale: a wine class and 4-course Italian dinner presented by Tenuto Torciano Winery (Tuscany, Italy) held in the lodge.
Extra Rides & Lodging Overview
Members enjoyed rugged mountain rides and nightly gatherings set against the dramatic peaks of the San Juan Mountains at Mountain Views at River's Edge. The site offered premium riverfront accommodations built for luxury motorcoaches, including full-hookup sites and easy access to the Rio Grande. With a mix of on-site activities and proximity to Creede's historic district, it served as a refined home base for one of our most adventurous rallies yet.
